Leep (Loop Electro Excision Procedure)

LEEP is the removal of abnormal cells from the cervix with an electrosurgical generator. LEEPs are routinely done in Ob/Gyn offices with only a local anesthetic. The procedure is typically performed in less than 20 minutes.

Cryoablation

Cryoablation utilizes extreme cold in order to remove the endometrial lining. This procedure is used to treat women with menorrhea (heavy menstrual periods). The procedure can be performed in-office, using a local anesthetic. The procedure is typically performed in approximately 20 minutes. We utilize technology provided by AMS Medical Solutions. Hysteroscopy

Hysteroscopy is an endoscopic procedure that is used for viewing the uterine cavity with a micro video endoscopy unit. A local anesthetic is used and patients tolerate the procedure quite well. While the hysteroscopy is being performed, minor procedures can also be efficiently performed through the hysteroscope system.

Micro Invasive Sterilization

We offer the Essure® permanent birth control procedure from Conceptus as an alternative to tubal ligation or a vasectomy. Unlike those procedures, the Essure® procedure does not require any incisions or punctures to the body and is a well tolerated procedure.
